Hanaa Daoud has asthma and pulmonary fibrosis, which requires her to rely on a breathing machine to survive. However, the Israel-Palestine conflict has hindered her access to proper treatment. She can only leave her house with her breathing device, and due to the lack of electricity in Gaza, she faces uncertainty when her battery runs out. "Rockets fly above our heads, and we brace for death. There's absolutely no safe place in Gaza. We aspire to live like people in other Arab countries, with safety and a normal life, free from a war every couple of years."
