Throughout November, hundreds of films and TV shows will be screened at various theaters as part of the festival's efforts to promote Chinese films and TV shows produced in the U.S. and beyond. The festival's primary goal is to foster cultural exchanges and cooperation between the film and television industries of China and the United States.

During the event, various companies and organizations from both countries will hold forums and other activities. Representatives from the Chinese and American film and television industries will share their experiences and discuss opportunities for collaboration.

The festival was founded in 2005 by EDI Media Inc. (USA) and is recognized as a China-U.S. cultural event by both the Chinese and U.S. governments.
