The famous Bosten Lake in Xinjiang recently changed its appearance from summer green to autumn gold. Bosten Lake is located in the Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It is the region's largest lake and one of the largest inland freshwater lakes in the country. The golden reed marsh and azure water create stunning scenery every autumn and early winter. In recent years, local authorities have launched a series of measures to enhance the protection of the lake's wetland, creating a better habitat for migratory birds.
