As the temperatures drops, the leaves of persimmon trees gradually fall in Jincheng, north China's Shanxi Province. The delightfully red persimmons hanging from the trees create the illusion of groves adorned with tiny lanterns, infusing the village with a festive and animated atmosphere. Villagers harvest these persimmons and set them out to dry, transforming them into delectable, dried fruit, perfect for winter consumption.

Traditional Chinese culture has rich customs and traditions associated with persimmons. During Spring Festival and other celebratory occasions, fruit platters invariably feature persimmons as dried fruit, symbolizing wishes for "peace and harmony."
