As late autumn descends upon the Taiyuan City region in northern China's Shanxi Province, the Xishan mountains are blanketed in a gorgeous mix of gold, red and green. The pinnacle of this scenic landscape is this elevated highway. Called the "skyway in the clouds," this highway is the most popular attraction there. The 30-kilometer-long highway has three layers, with the highest soaring 350 meters above the ground.
