China successfully sent a communications technology experiment satellite into space on November 3. The satellite was launched at 10:54 p.m. (Beijing Time) from the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site on the southern island province of Hainan by a modified version of the Long March-7 carrier rocket and entered the planned orbit successfully.
