A group of grey herons immersed themselves in the vibrant colors of an autumn landscape as they leisurely searched for food along the shores of Poyang Lake in east China’s Jiangxi Province. As the temperatures dropped, China’s largest freshwater lake, Poyang Lake, showcased a kaleidoscope of autumn hues, with mudflats, shallow waters, muddy soils, grassy shores, and blooming flowers painting a picturesque scene.
Amid this vibrant backdrop, grey herons, geese, and various migratory birds strolled through the landscape, finding moments to rest, forage, and play, collectively crafting a stunning and lively scene.
