An exhibition titled "From Olmec Culture to Aztec Culture: An Exhibition of Ancient Mexican Civilization" has opened at the Liaoning Provincial Museum in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. Over 150 relics are on display to showcase the rich history, culture and charm of the civilization of ancient Mexico.

As the birthplace of ancient civilization in Central America, Mexico developed a unique civilization over the course of thousands of years, leaving behind a precious heritage of treasured relics and ancient wisdom for posterity.

It's the first time that a large-scale exhibition on Central American civilization has been held at the Liaoning Provincial Museum since its opening, providing visitors with a rare opportunity to gain a better understanding of Mexican civilization.

Relics from the collections of nine Mexican cultural institutions are on display at the exhibition, the first time that most of the exhibits have been displayed in China.
