More than 200 teams from China and abroad have gathered in the eastern city of Suzhou for the Ready-Go Challenge, a first-aid tournament organized by China's Red Cross Foundation. Each five-member team had to pass 10 checkpoints along the 14-kilometer route. Their tasks test things like knowledge of first aid, trauma rescue, stretcher handling, and resuscitation skills. The goal is to improve first aid knowledge and skills among amateurs and professionals, according to China's Red Cross Foundation.
