The 2023 China International Import Expo (CIIE) kicks off in Shanghai on Sunday. On the sidelines of CIIE, Chairman of the U.S. Soybean Export Council Stan Born shares his insight on the increasing China-U.S. interactions. He tells CGTN's Tian Wei that meetings between his delegation and their Chinese counterparts are warm and jovial. He adds that soy has a great opportunity in China and clarifies that the U.S. government seeks to de-risk the supply chain as opposed to delinking with China. He said he just wants to move forward on producing food and working with China to help ensure food security.
