Tens of thousands of people took part in one of the largest pro-Palestinian demonstrations in the U.S. in Washington D.C. on November 4. The demonstrators called for a ceasefire as Israel continues its intense bombardment of the Gaza Strip for a fourth week, killing nearly 9,500 people. The protesters gathered at Freedom Plaza and began a march that looped past the White House a few blocks away. Speakers' chants and messaging centered on calls to end U.S. funding for Israel in the war and "Free Palestine."
