- At least 10,022 Palestinians were killed including 4,104 children in Israeli strikes on Gaza since October 7, the Palestinian health ministry in Gaza said on Monday.

- The border authority in Gaza on Monday said that the Rafah border crossing is open only for evacuations by Egyptians and foreigners listed since November 1.

- Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan told his U.S. counterpart Antony Blinken on Monday that a ceasefire needed to be declared urgently in Gaza as the two met in Ankara. 

- The South African government said on Monday it would recall all its diplomats from Israel to signal its concern over the situation in Gaza.
