Jason Hafemeister, a U.S. delegate told CGTN that agriculture helps create economic benefits and cultural engagement for both countries at the sixth China International Import Expo (CIIE) on Monday. Mr. Hafemeister is the acting deputy undersecretary for trade and foreign agricultural affairs and trade counsel to the agriculture secretary at the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). He is also the head of the U.S. delegation to CIIE this year.
