Chinese President Xi Jinping on Monday met with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

"A sound and stable China-Australia relationship serves the common interests of the two countries and the two peoples, which also meets the common expectations of countries in the region," said Xi.
