Southwest China's Sichuan Province is capitalizing on its industrial advantages to develop a new type of industrialization. Sichuan is one of the three major manufacturing bases for power equipment in China, covering clean energy, aviation engines, internal combustion engines and other fields. It boasts a complete industrial chain in the areas of advanced hydropower, clean thermal power and high-power wind energy, with an annual output value exceeding 200 billion yuan ($27.4 billion). Still, Sichuan is striving to achieve an operating income of 1.8 trillion yuan by 2027 and build a new materials industry base with international influence.
