Chinese and Vietnamese tourists visiting the famous cross-border Detian-Ban Gioc Waterfall can now reach the other side of the attraction more conveniently due to the creation of a cross-border tourism cooperation zone that began trial operations on September 15, 2023. Straddling the border between China and Vietnam, the Detian-Ban Gioc Waterfall is famous for its spectacular views. It is the largest waterfall in Asia and the fourth largest transnational waterfall in the world.
