Chinese President Xi Jinping has met with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese in Beijing. President Xi said China and Australia, without historical enmities or fundamental conflicts of interest, can be mutually successful partners. Rong Ying, vice president of the China Institute of International Studies, says stable bilateral relations serve the interests of the two countries and the region as a whole.
