During World War II, a group of U.S. aviators came to China to join the battle against Japanese fascists. They were known as the "Flying Tigers." Veterans of the group and family members of some deceased war heroes recently visited Beijing and other cities where the combat team used to fight. The delegation hopes the visit will play an active role in promoting the same kind of friendship formed during wartime among youth from both countries.
