A recent CGTN poll shows that over 90 percent of respondents agree that hosting the China International Import Expo (CIIE) for six years reflects China's continued high-level opening up to the world. Over 83 percent of respondents agree that the popularity of CIIE demonstrates a strong confidence in global business, free trade and open markets. Meanwhile, over 82 percent think countries should promote trade and investment facilitation and build an open economy. The survey was conducted via CGTN's online platform in five different languages. Over 10,000 people took part within 24 hours.
