Jinli Street in Chengdu, Sichuan has been featured on CNN Travel's list of the world's most beautiful streets. The U.S. news outlet's travel section described the pedestrian shopping street as "pleasingly historic," and "replete with red lanterns and traditional signage." The tourism hotspot, which features traditional Sichuan folk culture and wooden houses and shops in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) style, was ranked among scenic streets in Mykonos Old Town, Greece; Melbourne, Australia; and an eight-hairpin-bend street in San Francisco, California.
