A gymnasium collapse on Monday in Jiamusi city, Northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, led to three deaths. As the rescue operation ended, authorities started investigations.

After driving over 1,000 km from Shenyang, CGTN's Guan Yang finally made his way to the collapsed gymnasium. The tragedy occurred at this two-storey building on Monday evening. 7 middle school students were playing basketball in the gym at the time of the failure, of whom three escaped. One suffered minor injuries and three were killed.
