At least three people were killed and 30 others injured by Ukrainian shelling on the Voroshylovskyi district of the Donetsk region, TASS news agency reported on Wednesday, citing local authorities.
Russia has requested an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council on Wednesday in connection with the strikes, the report added.
There has been no response from Ukraine.
