Balancing environmental protection and economic development is a question for the whole world, especially for plateaus with a vulnerable environment. On November 10, China's State Council Information Office addressed this question and shared the country's experiences at a press conference at which it released a white paper titled "CPC Policies on the Governance of Xizang in the New Era: Approach and Achievements."
