The sixth China International Import Expo (CIIE) has wrapped up in Shanghai. This year's event attracted around 3,400 exhibitors and 410,000 professional visitors, marking a full return to its pre-pandemic level. Speaking at a CGTN special forum on the expo, Andy Mok, a senior research fellow at the Center for China and Globalization, explained why the platform is significant. He said it offers global participants first-hand experience of the Chinese market and society.
