Clifford Alex Polycarp, founder of Kaisa Holdings, gave a speech on new technologies in achieving climate goals at the Financial Street Forum in Chinese capital Beijing on Friday. Polycarp highlighted three areas where technology is focused: industrial sector, artificial intelligence (AI) and nature technology. He also mentioned 13 areas where machine learning and AI can be deployed. Possible uses of AI include energy-efficient buildings, low carbon materials and monitoring of deforestation, he said.
