A roundtable conference discussing the high-quality development of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) took place in Lahore, Pakistan. Organized by The Daily CPEC, the conference focused on the theme "3rd BRF: New Stage of High-Quality CPEC Development."
During the event, Zhao Shiren, Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Lahore, highlighted the success of the 3rd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation held in Beijing. With over 10,000 participants from 151 countries and 41 international organizations, the Forum underscored the global impact and appeal of the Belt and Road Initiative.
Li Chen, CEO of Orange Line, addressed the conference, emphasizing the successful completion and operation of the Orange Line Metro in Lahore. He reiterated NORINCO's commitment to contributing to Pakistan's development and economic revitalization, citing the project's positive impact on job creation and the lives of the people.
Additional speakers at the conference, including caretaker Punjab Health Minister Javed Akram, National Institute of Maritime Affairs Director General Vice Admiral (retd) Ahmed Saeed, Pakistan Observer Chairman Faisal Zahid Malik, and The Daily CPEC Founder and CEO Saud Faisal Malik, stressed the significance of CPEC and its potential to bring positive changes to Pakistan.
