Stewart Patrick: U.S., Europe should try to restrain Israel

At the sixth Paris Peace Forum, when answering a CGTN reporter's question, Stewart Patrick, senior fellow and director of the Global Order and Institutions Program at Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, said that Israel's violations of international humanitarian law are immoral and counterproductive to the interests of both Israel and to the broader region. The United States and its European allies should try to restrain Israel in its violent campaign to go after Hamas, he added.
