Thousands more people have fled northern Gaza, heading for the south as Israeli troops continue to strike the coastal enclave. Due to an interruption in fuel supplies, Gazans, including the elderly, children and pregnant women, can only walk or take horse-drawn carriages, carrying limited belongings with them.
