The global economy faces growing uncertainties, compounded by the rise of economic decoupling, protectionism and de-globalization. Zhao Zhongxiu, president of the University of International Business and Economics, told CGTN that history shows openness brings cooperation and prosperity, while isolation and conflicts destroy them. He said despite challenges, the global economy and trade remain resilient and the growth trend remains unchanged.
