Former Pakistani central bank governor: BRI provides finance accessibility for emerging markets

China's financial sector is shifting to another level, focusing on fintech, green finance, and sustainability, said Yaseen Anwar, former governor of the State Bank of Pakistan. Anwar also praised the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), saying that the BRI provides access to finance, in particular for the global south and emerging economies.
