UK Home Secretary Suella Braverman has been sacked, local media reported Monday, as a reshuffle of Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's top team of ministers is under way.

Sunak was under pressure to dismiss Braverman following comments she made last week about the police's handling of a pro-Palestinian march.

Critics said her stance helped inflame tensions and encourage right-wing protesters to take to the streets of London.
