Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Israel will "continue to control security in the Gaza Strip to prevent terror from it." The statement has triggered a request from the U.S. government to clarify what Netanyahu meant by security control. Wang Jin, an associate professor and specialist in Middle Eastern studies at Northwest University in Xi'an, says that Israel and the U.S. are clearly divided over the future of Gaza.
