The veterans of the Flying Tigers and their descendants hope that the people of China and the United States will continue to foster the enduring friendship established during the war years and further encourage the stable development of China-U.S. relations in times of peace. Jeffrey Green, chairman of the Sino-American Aviation Heritage Foundation, said, "I believe the spirit of the Flying Tigers symbolizes upholding justice, peaceful coexistence, win-win cooperation and everlasting friendship."
