This year's Cross-Straits CEO Summit kicked off on Tuesday in Nanjing, east China's Jiangsu Province, with the participation of hundreds of business people from both sides of the Taiwan Straits. The annual event draws great attention as this year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Cross-Straits CEO Summit Council both on the mainland and Taiwan.The mainland's top political adviser Wang Huning read out a congratulatory letter from Chinese President Xi Jinping, saying that the mainland will continue to promote economic exchanges and cooperation across the Taiwan Straits.
