As an ancient imperial temple from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), the Dabao'en Temple retains the glory of its ancient Chinese architectural style while offering a valuable insight into the Buddhist history and culture of China.

Located on the banks of the Qinhuai River in Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, the modern replica of the iconic Porcelain Tower was built with all the ancient wisdom, techniques and craftsmanship of the original temple, while the temple retains many original features after several rounds of renovation work.

Many precious cultural relics were unearthed from the underground palace that is now an essential part of Chinese archaeological history. Nowadays, the temple is a blend of ancient and modern masterpieces, featuring creative architectural designs and splendid artistic aesthetics.
