A fire broke out at a coal company building at 6:51 a.m. on Thursday in Lyuliang, a city in northern China's Shanxi Province. The fire was put out at 2:44 p.m. and 64 rescued people were rushed to a local hospital for treatment. Among them, 26 were pronounced dead and 38 others injured. The building belongs to the Youngju coal mine company. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
