The State Council Information Office of China has released a white paper titled "The Belt and Road Initiative: A Key Pillar of the Global Community of Shared Future." The document aims to provide a better understanding of the value of the BRI and what it has delivered over the past 10 years. So how can we evaluate this initiative started by China? What does the BRI mean for the many partner countries who have joined? And can the BRI maintain stability even in today’s slow economic growth? Guests in this episode are Charles Liu, founder of HAO Capital and senior fellow at Taihe Institute; Dr. Syed Mahmud Ali, associate fellow at the Institute of China Studies of the University of Malaya; and Harvey Dzodin, senior fellow at the Center for China and Globalization.
