The 30th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders' Meeting has opened in San Francisco. "Tunes from Two Cities," a special program produced by CGTN, takes you on a journey to explore two cities in China and the United States and experience the local culture and lifestyle respectively. Shenzhen in China and San Francisco in the U.S. are both cities that feature a grand bay area. Renowned Chinese pianist Tian Jiaxin and Su Meng, a guitarist and professor at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, started this musical journey in each of the cities. They explore the connection between culture and music, integrate their personal feelings and understanding into their musical interpretations, and perform a piece embodying the spirit of each city from their own perspective through the melodies of the piano and classical guitar.
