The 2023 Paris Peace Forum took place in Paris with the theme of “seeking common ground in a world of rivalry”. In this increasingly polarized world, is it still possible to find common ground in a world of rivalry? How have the recent political and economic developments affected the relationship between the United States and Europe? How can countries collaborate to achieve the goals to “find common ground”? To have a better understanding of these issues, we invited Justin Vaïsse, founder and director general of the Paris Peace Forum, to share his insights.
