At the invitation of U.S. President Joe Biden, Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in San Francisco on Tuesday local time for a China-U.S. summit meeting and the 30th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders' Meeting. Representatives of overseas Chinese and Chinese students came to the streets along the way to warmly welcome President Xi Jinping's visit. Xi told senior U.S. officials who welcomed him at the airport that he came to San Francisco on his first trip to the United States 38 years ago.
