Neth Pheaktra noted that media is an important force in disseminating information, shaping images, and influencing public opinion. The media of Cambodia and China have a solid foundation and broad space for cooperation. They make outstanding contributions to building a China-Cambodia community with a shared future, and promote political mutual trust, economic mutual benefit, and cultural mutual learning between the two countries. In 2023, CMG and National Television of Cambodia co-produced the three-episode documentary "The Smile of Cambodia," presenting the fruitful results of Cambodia and China working under the Belt and Road Initiative.

Hu Jinjun said that pursuing a better life and realizing modernization are the common goals of Chinese and Cambodians. CMG is willing to work with other media to vividly record the practices of implementing the China-Cambodia "Diamond Hexagon" cooperation framework and building the "Industrial Development Corridor" and the "Fish and Rice Corridor," so as to enhance cultural exchanges between the two countries in various fields and benefit the people of both countries.

Chinese President Xi Jinping and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet designated 2024 as the year of people-to-people exchanges between China and Cambodia, and media communication is an integral part of people-to-people and cultural exchanges between the two countries.
Representatives of various ministries in Cambodia's Cabinet, heads of over 40 mainstream media organizations in Cambodia, and heads of various departments in CMG also attended the forum.
