Summit concluded, pillars laid, progress made, actions needed

02:37

"Stabilizing, avoiding conflict, resuming communications." These were the key words in international media's reporting on the China-U.S. summit. This meeting serves to enhance trust, alleviate doubts, manage differences and expand cooperation between China and the United States. And it should be the new beginning for a stable China-U.S. relationship. The two countries should assume a new vision and build together five pillars for bilateral relations. The China-U.S. relationship is the most important bilateral relationships of this century. Planet Earth is big enough for the two countries to succeed. We must, through real action, sustain the results of the China-U.S. summit in San Francisco.
