The world champion who turned to teaching

In 2017, Yang Denghui represented China in the 44th WorldSkills Competition. Aged just 20 at the time, he won the gold medal in the CNC milling event. As a world champion, he received many high-paying job offers. However, he chose to become a teacher. In the past few years, he has not only trained two more WorldSkills champions, but also opened up exciting career paths for many other youngsters by helping them master high-precision manufacturing.
