Chinese President Xi Jinping, with his wife Peng Liyuan, visited Lincoln High School in Tacoma, Washington in 2015 during his first state visit to the United States as Chinese president. Rigel Bruce Adams, a Lincoln High School graduate, thanked Xi for his gracious offer to send 100 students to China back in the day.
