The first council meeting for a new international framework aimed at tackling climate change and other emergencies was held in the Chinese capital of Beijing on Thursday. The ministerial-level platform has been established under the Belt and Road Initiative and looks to boost cooperation in the face of risks. CGTN catches up with some of the participants, to get their thoughts on the new platform.
