In an interview with China Media Group (CMG), Thai Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn said that the building of a China-Laos-Thailand railway will boost economic and trade relations between China and Thailand.
"I think the building of the China-Laos-Thailand railway is of great significance. Many Thai fruit vendors I personally know told me that they have witnessed a surge in their fruit sales since the China-Laos Railway was put into operation. The railway development will promote economic growth, facilitate Chinese people to relish an abundance of fruits from Thailand, and deepen trade and economic exchanges between Thailand and China, thus fostering more cooperation and investment projects for the two peoples," said Princess Sirindhorn.
