UNRWA: UN staffers killed, facilities damaged in Gaza

01:25

Juliette Touma, the director of communications for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), revealed in an interview on November 17 that 103 United Nations employees have been killed in Gaza. It is the highest number of aid workers killed in the history of the UN. Additionally, more than 60 UNRWA facilities have been impacted or damaged. Touma suggested that there seems to be a "deliberate attempt" to hinder humanitarian aid and called for an immediate ceasefire.
