Jet crashes into bay in Melbourne, Australia after midair collision

CGTN

A light aircraft crashed into Melbourne's Port Phillip Bay after two planes collided midair, approximately 12 kilometers west of Mornington, the Australian Maritime Safety Authority said on Sunday.

The other aircraft landed safely at Essendon airfield, authorities added.
