The death toll in the Gaza Strip has reached 12,300, according to the government media office in Gaza. More than 5,000 children are among the casualties.

As November 20 marks World Children's Day, CGTN Stringer recently visited a circus inside a school in Rafah City on the Gaza Strip. Despite the shadow of death and continuing chaos, the circus was trying to bring the fleeing children a moment of happiness.

"We have faced many difficulties, but we hope to empower the children and relieve them from the pressure of war and chaos," Youssef Khoder, a coach with the circus, said.
