Thirty-one premature babies evacuated from Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City received care in the Al-Helal Emirati Maternity Hospital in Rafah, southern Gaza, before their transfer to Egypt on November 20. In Gaza, a lack of fuel to power incubators led to the deaths of other vulnerable newborns at Al-Shifa.
